Our Projects

The Middle Deschutes Watershed Council seeks to accomplish its mission of enhancing and protecting the natural resources of the Middle Deschutes watershed through collaborative efforts to restore riparian habitat and provide community educational opportunities.  You can learn more about our individual programs by visiting our program pages below.

Through the watershed education program, the council engages with community members and local youth to encourage a sense of place and foster lifelong stewardship of our lands and rivers.

The council's restoration projects seek to restore and protect important watershed functions, such as clean water and critical habitat for native fish and wildlife, while supporting a sustainable economy in the Middle Deschutes watershed.
